I met up with my friends at this shopping center in Scottsdale on Saturday Night. Every Saturday is a car show where people come show off their cars. My friends with Supras go there to find domestic cars to race. Saad ( the one with 1000hp Supra in Arizona) brought is stock ACRS Viper. This one guy out there had a Camaro SS LS1 with 150 shot of nitrous. Guilly (well-known supra owner) talked the guy into racing Saad's Viper on the freeway from a roll. Thought it would be pretty much even dual. The guy claims to run 11.8 at 123mph at the track. My friend Mike Lee wanted to follow behind to watch the race. I let him drive my car while I sat in the passenger seat. We're on the freeway follwing at 60 mph behind the Viper and the Camaro SS. They both line up side by side from a roll when they punch it, We are behind by a few car lengths to watch. My friend down shifts it and punches it. We kept up with both of the Viper and the Camaro. We were pretty much even with the Camaro SS with 150 shot. Saad's Viper pulled on the Camaro by several car lengths before letting off due to traffic. I'm only boosting 14psi because of my clutch. Didn't expect my car to run even with SS LS1 Camaro running 150 shot NOS. To me my car feels slow at that low of boost. I am probably pushing about 450 to 480 rwhp. I guess horsepower is like a drug . You get use to it and need more to feel the effect. Mike
